Pair of chaco sandals in need of repair - will it be covered by warranty?

I have a pair of chaco sandals from 2006 that are in need of repair. Both need new soles, and I am thinking of getting them rewebbed because part is on the beginning of fraying and I'd like a new color pattern. I know that the webbing wont be covered by their warranty, but what are the odds of the resoling being paid for? I ask because I would really like to keep using them (even though just the buckle and footbed will be reused). The thing is I have a discount code for Peace Corps for 50% off if I wanted to buy new ones. I don't really want to send them in only to find that the resoling isn't covered due to "normal wear and tear." What would resoling be considered? I really don't like to throw things away when they've still got some life in them...

Kiss Nail Artist stencil help?

Hi, I bought the "Kiss Nail Artist" set with Black, White, and silver thin brushes and 30 stencils. I was wondering if you can reuse the stencils? If so, don't they lose stickiness, and they wont stay on the nail and the polish will run underneath? Also, in the stencil plastic packet, there's this weird square with one sticky side, what is it?

Help with cheerleading?!?

I made the 7th grade cheer squad this year and we had to have the same things!!! First, make sure you practice your motions and everytime you do make sure you are tightening your arms. Start to make that a habbit soo your motions will look clean when you tryout. Next, stretch alot to get your jumps good! Splits help alot! You dont have to have a full split to do it. Go down to where you can and it will stretch your body and make your jumps better. But you have to stretch often you cant just do it once and expect to have perfect jumps. In your back bend kick very hard and use all you lower body strength to kick over! Cheerleading is POWER! If you dont have a cartwheel and round-off i think you should might consider slipping into a little tumbling class to work on those things. I tryed to help you with all of my experience. I am making an android application. To do so i will partially use photos from Google. I make sure that all photos are licensed as available for commercial reuse with modification. What scares me is that someone can see one of the photos that i use someday is theirs (higher likelihood, not only for applications) and just change the copyright status online so that they can claim a violation of their automatic copyright as a photographer, artist, or compositor. Can this happen? If it can am i just being paranoid?

Will the Monroe Sensatrac shocks give me the smoothest ride?

I have a 1999 Buick Century. There are currently no problems with the shocks. I don't think my shocks will go out anytime soon. I am just doing some research to figure out what will give me the smoothest ride. Is it also a good idea to replace the springs the same time you replace the shocks? My Stone Pizza oven needs help?

I have an outdoor stone pizza oven. it was built last year. From the start it seemed to take too long to cook a single pizza, but after we reused it this year it doesn't seem to be reaching even the same temperature with the same size fire or by any other method we have tried. It is a bit frustrating because it feels as if the stones on the mouth of the oven, which are not firestone, are reaching a higher temperature than the ones that are firestone. So my question is, Are there any solutions out there for this problem that avoids gutting my oven out. Are there any stones that we should buy to line the oven on top of what we were told were "firestone"? Is there any fire-building method that makes a hotter fire? Do particular wood types produce more heat than others? Does placement of the fire before and during cooking affect the internal temperature and if so what is the best method?

How to access files on hard drive?

Ok, so I have a Dell laptop. A few weeks ago it started acting funny. So I tried to back it up, it wouldnt allow me to do so. I used the installation disc to repair whatever was wrong with it. Worked fine for a bit.....BUT every time I would start the computer I would have two options: Windows 7 or Windows 7 Home Premium (recovered) I would always choose the first option, which when logged on had all my files and such on it. A few day's ago I tried to do the windows update. I went to restart my computer as I was told to. It got stuck on the Starting windows screen. I tried EVERYTHING short of throwing the laptop. It would keep restarting and try to do the start up repair. Which did nothing. So I completely shut the laptop off. When I restarted it I choose the second option (Windows 7 Home Premium Recovered) It started perfectly! BUT: None of my files were on it. I looked in all the "My Computer" stuff and found nothing. So, I called Dell. I am still under warranty. So they said my hard drive was bad and I needed a new one. And I asked about my files.. It would cost from 600-1000 for them to do a data recovery. Thats a little out of my price range. So after I spoke with them, I got to thinking... If it was my hard drive why would the one option (Windows 7 Home Premium Recovered) work and not the other?? So I went to Geek Squad. They told me to buy a Hard Drive Cover thingy and put the hard drive in it and pull the files using another computer. So I tried that. Hooked it up to my husbands computer and looked in just about all the files. I have two options on that Recovery E or OS G: Assuming G because my husbands is C or something like that. I have pictures and files on it that I need, and I need help or ideas. I cant afford the 600-1000 to have Dell pulll the stuff. Please help!

Urgent Computer Restoration Help?

I don't really know what caused the problem, one day my computer's working fine and today it's gone to hell in a hand basket. How to fix laptop keyboard-some keys not working?

I have a 3.5 year old Toshiba Satellite. Suddenly my F,W, H and Q keys are not working. I took it to "geek squad" who tested, and said the issue is definitely the keyboard. I currently have an external keyboard plugged in, but that won't really work in the long run (as I often take the laptop with me, etc). My laptop screen only works when i twist it...?

first of all im really clumsy. so the first few times i dropped my lenovo thinkpad nothing happened, but then i dropped it and a bunch of really thin white lines appeared on the right side of my laptop that stretched about halfway across. it didnt really bother me but when it did i twisted the 2 top corners of the laptop and they slowly went down the screen and disappeared. its been like that for at least 3 weeks but this morning i dropped it again and it got alot worse. when i turn the laptop on nothing shows up its just a black screen with a few white spots and colors that fade into a whole white screen after 25 seconds, then into black with tiny green, blue and red spots. if i twist the two top corners it goes back to normal but i have to hold it in order to see the screen. any advice on how to fix it or should i just take it into geek squad or something?

How to disinflate a helium balloon to reuse it?

Is the balloon a latex or Mylar one. If it is the Mylar (plastic like and shiny) then you can insert a strong plastic straw into the opening until it is about an 1 1/2 inches past the wide area, and this will let the helium out. If it is the latex kind then you would need to very carefully undo the knot. You would need to be sure that you do not make any kind of holes in it. I have never tried to undo the knot on a latex balloon, but I have been able to deflate a Mylar one. Good luck.

Im a 13 year old in 7th grade and sadly have not had my first kiss. Sadly. My dad said i could have a boy friend. Hes Alright with it. My homies are sophie and kenzie (they r both bi, but im straight).And our guy friend nathan. Well ive had a crush on him for five months. (Way too long) i met these friends this year at my new school. Well last year sophie went out with nathan, this year so did kenzie, and sophie again. They both kissed him. And he is totally in love with sophie. Soph just wants to be friends. Currently soph is going out with kenzie. Nathan txts me A LOT but i figure hes just being friendly. Last weekend i had a sleepover with my other friends kayla and whitney. My journal/diary (dont laff) was laying open. They didnt see it. So i put it in my closet. Made them promise NOT to read it. And went to the bathroom. STUPID RIGHT? So yesterday at school kayla told me they read this one page where id written an imaginary letter to nathan about how i liked him. (Im sorry i would have read it too so dont be mad at them) so now they kno! And im scared if they tell nathan, kenzie or soph theyll be mad at me...... and i dont want to hurt nathan cuz he REALLY likes sophie. But hes kinda weirded out cuz shes a lezbian and is goin out with kenzie. Also, kenzie likes soph and nathan and soph likes kenzie and nathan and nathan loves soph but im not sure kenzie... HELP!

How long can previously cooking oil (clear cooking oil) be kept unrefregerated and safely reused.?

I have a large cooker which holds about 12- 15 gallons and I cook for large groupes about every 3-4 months. I want to drain, strain and store my oil for more than one use. (about $50 worth of oil). Can I safely use it after having stored it for 2-3 months in a non refeigerated enviroment?

I am 29 years old and haven't been in many meaningful relationships. I've always been a commitment phobe. I don't have a lot of girlfriends but I have a small group of guyfriends that I've maintained friendship with from my teen years that I met thru doing music. Ranging from 9 yr to 13 yr friendships. Needless to say I'm very comfortable in my skin around these guys. The thing is even though we have non sexual relationships with some of them I have had intimacy. The last time being in 2006. My bf who is now my ex who hates me,lol thinks I am innapropriate for talking to them the way that I do. It's not that I'm flirting its more of that my convo is very comfortable. Ist friend frm 13 yrs back is like a best firend. I used to have a crush on him when I was a teen but hell that was back n tha day. We both still do music and I drove outta town and crashed at his place while he was in audio engineering school so we cld work on some stuff. 1 text was teasing him on his bday. He is a comedic guy who is also kinda vain and is always saying vain stuff, but we laff about it. I will usually say obnoxiously vain stuff to him as well. On his bday in a text I wrote my cakes are the most delicious and moist in the world. My ex saw the text in my phone and lost it. He thinks we have been screwin round the whole time. Now the guy I was wit in 06 is my producer. My bf had asked if I had ever been with him and out of embarrassment I said no. Turns out he went thru my email and found an old message frm 06. Me n bf hooked up in 2010 by the way. He goes off about that saying its no way I'm not still screwing him. The other guy friend (last one) texted when he wa down n out after a court case who I talked to earlier saying he needed a hug n I responded " I got u". Got blanked on about that too. Am I wrong or is this dude crazy? Am I dealing wit these guys innapropriately? Bf is gone now, but I don't want this problem again.

What air purifiers are good that don't need to have their air filters replaced?

I have no allergies to speak of. I use a purifier to keep the air sweet and keep viruses and bacteria down. I like the kind that has an ultraviolet bulb and a fan blows air over the bulb, creating 3 part oxygen. It is not flammable as oxygen that is used for breathing problems. It makes the air smell like after a rain on a grassy lawn, pure fresh air. they come in a very small size for bathrooms, and larger ones for larger areas.There is even one for inside the refrigerator. Right now I can't come up with a supplier, I would google ultraviolet air purifiers. My small one brand name is Prozone. These use no filters, a different concept.

Ok i want to buy the undead nightmare, but i want to knwo if i can reuse the disc. (i dont really knwo how the disc works but wonderign if it like downloads from disc and you can just pass it on to a friend and let the download it too?)

my macbook charger has randomly stopped working. it worked fine yesterday, but now when it is plugged in to both the outlet and the macbook, the computer like isn't picking it up and isn't showing that anything is plugged in. lve tried 3 different outlets and ive tried restarting the computer. i think it's the charger but the apple store is pretty far from where i am and i can't make it out there. can i just go to best buy to see if the charger is the issue, even if i didnt buy the macbook there?

Help with finding the name of a music video?

hey i was at BANG, a nightclub in Melbourne, last night and there were music videos playing on the screens and one of them was of a guy running away from a cop near the beach in what to me looked like miami. the whole video is in slow motion and the guy gets tackled by the cop and bashed by him then some onlookers tackle the cop to stop him beating the guy, then he starts running again until roughly 5 cops place him in the back of a squad car. anyway the video is really well done and i like it so i was wondering if anyone knows the name of it or if they had a you tube link for it? anything would be great thank you ^^
