Im american and i downt no wear america is is this a problum?

im 26 yeers old and american and i dont no wear america is on a map is this a problum? my boss says he will fire me if i cant figur out where it is. i try two study wear it is on the map but i just cant remembur. please dont laff at me and help cuz if i lose my job i wont be able to pay rent.
